Summer Favorites

   Hey y'all,

    So it has been a while of traveling and having a fun summer but now I have to settle down to my at home products and enjoy the new back to school items. But school really did sneak up on me but I am trying to be positive while going back into this school year. So these are a few of the products that I have been loving and have enjoyed for the past few months. 

Salt and Stone Deodorant

    Once you hear about all the terrible things that antiperspirant does to your body you can never go back! The challenge is what natural deodorant will work for you. For me my underarms sweat quite a bit and living in FL it is quite a smelly situation if the deodorant doesn't work.  On top of this, this deodorant smells so amazing that it makes your clothes smell good. But the best part of all is that is all natural and it works like a typical deodorant. 

Monkey Keychain

    This monkey is a nice addition to both my keys and my lunchbox. It is so darling and the perfect size to stand out. It also is a great conversation starter because well its a monkey and people like to comment a plethora of things. But linked there is also a ton of colors so I have two different ones to match my keys and my lunchbox. 

Listerine

    This seems obvious but shockingly I am late to the program I absolutely love the way it makes my mouth feel so fresh and ready for the day but seriously I very much enjoy the fresh feeling. I use it both morning and night. As well as flossing only at night- to me this is more manageable than undertaking both flossing morning and night also I decided to use the floss pickers instead of real thread so it is very wasteful to use pickers both day and night.

    This may seem quite nerdy because this obviously has a like detachable piece but it has a very functional use and I love it. My car has a stand that connects to the pop socket part and this has a wallet part and I always keep my cards and my ID in there so I can have my ID on me at all times- but you do run the risk of loosing your phone with all the cards in the back of it.

Sunscreen

    So for months I struggled with finding a good sunscreen that allows my skin to breath and doesn't make my face look like a nice glazed donut and I have finally done it. So when I went to the dermatologist and got a skin treatment done they put this on my face so it is sold my derm but the direct retailer sells it as well but it is quite pricy- the bottle will last me about 4 months. The sunscreen feels very matte but it makes your face look very clean and it gives a bit of coverage.

Super Soft Blanket 

    I could not justify spending that much money on a blanket by any means but I got it as a gift for Christmas so I have taken it for quite the test run and I unfortunately LOVE it. It is more stretchy than I thought and I love the elasticity while keeping it so soft. I have the white version and shockingly it hasn't gotten dirty at all and I just wash it with all my whites and it has never even relatively changed colors. 

Moleskin Notebook

Journal

    Once again another gift that was such a sweet idea from a friend who knows me so well. I have had many different types of notebooks over the past few years but this one has really stuck and I love it for traveling. This summer I used this notebook for a travel journal and for the most part I have kept up with it  writing each day about what I loved and hated about the day or the scenery. And I just checked the different color selection and it looks like they have some really cute colors and patterns now while I only have black.

Day Designer planner/ Google calendar

    I don't know what your view is but for me personally I used the online google calendar over the summer because I wasn't carrying a physical planner but during the school year I am a sucker for a daily planner- while they do have more pages and are heavier I really really enjoy all the features of a day designer.

Fresca Soda

    This is a bit of a sparkling water with a bit of flavoring that is zero calorie and zero sugar. It is the perfect year round drink and can be drank room temp or cold bc it is so so so bubbly and doesn't necessarily need chilling.

Rainbow Sandals 

Flip flops

    These were the perfect flip flops that look not too formal but can pass walking around as well as get wet at the pool. These shoes mold to your feet and make wearing them so comfy. I really enjoy wearing them around on the town as well as to swim training or the beach.
