Back to school Shop Sesh
Hey y'all,
Its Lexi Jo ready to do some shopping!
I have gone through my closet very meticulously to find different pieces that I constantly grab for. I figured out the similarities between the items and decided that is what I would focus on this back to school season in order to maximize usage of the clothes in my closet.
If you need help sorting through your closet and deciding what your most worn pieces are, follow my facebook and DM me to work with me.
Now to get shopping!
One of my most worn pieces are my favorite versatile jeans. I prefer my jeans to be comfortable while providing me some support and compression to feel confident.
My all time favorite jeans are the Madewell Perfect Vintage Straight Jeans.
I have also heard great things about the Pagie jeans and would love to try a pair this season.
These are the pair I am eyeing.
I love to pair a good denim with a simple white bodysuit that hugs your figure while keeping you cool and confident, some of my favorites range in price:
This bodysuit was my first and I wanted to try a cheaper option in case I didn't like the fit.
As it turns out i loved everything about it and I was due for a new one so i opted for the pricer option.
Another bodysuit I reach for is this one -> it is buttery soft and a plus is you don't have to opt for a bra.
With these simple outfits you have many different ways to accessorize, I will typically go for a bigger earring or if I am feeling fun I can tie a silk scarf around my waist as a belt or in my hair. Some good quality ones are linked, these can also double by tying them around bags and suitcases in order to identify your bag easily.

My next buy for back to school will most likely be a denim shorts romper. I have yet to find one that I have my heart set on because most of them that I have found have been too expensive or odd fitting. But I have my heart set on a vision where I have multiple wears out of this piece because I can pair it with multiple different sets of big earrings and scarfs. This is an example of one i am eyeing.
Another aspect of my closet that I feel like I have very specific favorites in is my shoes.
I look for comfort and versatility while being overall a cute shoe.
Last year my New Balance crew grew and I am still enjoying wearing my 574’s but i am ready to branch back out into sneaker land and I have been seeing the Chloé Nama Lace-Up Sneaker dupes everywhere and I am in love! They look quite comfortable while still having the ability to match with everything.
Other shoes that I consider as staples are my birks , my tory burch millers,
and my Hokas .
These staples provide me with outfits to fall back on when I need something to wear quickly or when my creative juices stop flowing. I hope some of these ideas allow your closets to grow.
XOXO, Lexi Jo
