Happiness Importance Post
Hey y'all, I hope you are having a fabulous day. I am doing a happiness post. LOL This sounds stupid but in the school season I know many people struggle to pour into their own bucket. Here is a few ideas to build yourself up.
1) We can start when you wake up in the morning, these past few weeks I have gotten my head straight into my book or a journal. This has helped me to wake up in a positive way. (I will make a book recommendation post coming soon)!!! My journal I use.
2) The next great way to start the morning off on a good note is to keep your phone in another room. The way my family does this is in my sister and I's bathroom we keep a charging station that can fit all out devices. We also use our Amazon Alexa's to wake us up. I have also used the amazing alarm clock which turns on a light gradually a few minutes before your actual alarm goes off.
3) The structure of your day can help to brighten the day. Having a "natural day" structure helps to reset my brain. This is the day where I will wear no makeup (not that I wear much in the first place), wear something comfy, and I allow myself to listen to my body. If I feel like an early morning workout, I will. If I feel like reading for 2 hours in my bed, I will. This helps me to pour into my own body and check up on my goals.
4) Get some vitamin D all day, any day. I am so grateful to live in Florida, but thankfully the sun is quite a worldwide asset. Getting some sunlight even by opening your blinds can help you to feel the wonderful joy of the sunlight on your skin.
5) The greatest way to reset and fill your day with happiness is writing what I am grateful for helps my calm my brain and makes me feel excited for the future. Quite self explanatory but this helps makes me happy and grateful. My journal I use.
***Bonus: I have taken pictures of what makes me happy over the past few weeks, so when I need it I can look back on them. Here are some examples: Just little spontaneous pictures :)
